As I’m not an English speaker, the translation was provided by a French knitting bilingual who has used it for many years and who almost knits from English patterns only.

STOCKHOLM Hood is a women's hood with an elegant and refined design, designed to combine femininity and comfort. This model is knitted entirely in the round using a circular needle, which guarantees a finish without any visible seams, offering a perfect fit and optimal comfort. With this knit, you will only cut the yarn once, simplifying the creation and avoiding complex finishing. Ideal for cool days, this hood is as chic as it is comfortable to wear, a key piece to enrich your collection of handmade clothing. It complements perfectly with the matching mittens from the same collection.

Construction details(s)

SEAMLESS (in the round then back and forth)

The STOCKHOLM Hood is knitted seamlessly, combining a LACE yarn in mohair and silk with a FINGERING yarn in cashmere, silk, and alpaca. The collar begins with a provisional cable cast-on, allowing for a semi-twisted 1/1 ribbing knit in the round with double increases. The hood is then worked in cables, including the face opening, and the crown is closed with short rows and decreases. Finally, the provisional stitches are picked up to knit the bib in stockinette stitch, edged with an I-cord. A casing is formed around the face opening by picking up the stitches, and then an I-cord cord is inserted.
