Bath and photos

If we have the required quantity of skeins from the same dye bath, your order will be prepared and shipped as normal. However, online stock may come from different dye baths. In this case, we do not mix the batches: we re-dye them to ensure better color consistency. Please note that in this case, shipping may take up to 2 weeks maximum.

Our skeins are guaranteed to come from the same bath for the same color up to a maximum of 6 units, depending on the vat capacity and the type of wool. Beyond this quantity, your skeins may come from several baths, but they will always be dyed together during the same session to ensure the best possible uniformity.

Each yarn is hand-dyed in my studio in small batches of 6, allowing for rigorous control at every stage and resulting in intense, semi-solid shades. Each batch is completely exhausted, and each skein is carefully checked and reshaped. For projects requiring long lengths, alternating skeins is recommended to harmonize shades. For pre-orders, all skeins are dyed together in the same batch.

Remember to allow enough for your project to obtain a uniform result.

The yarn photos are carefully taken and edited to best reflect the colors, in natural light and on a Retina display. Despite this precision, slight variations may appear depending on the screen and lighting conditions.

Advice and interviews

Some highly saturated colors, especially yellows and reds, may cause the wash water to run slightly cloudy, but this does not affect the quality of the yarn. A little white vinegar in the soaking water can prevent this effect. We wash and rinse each yarn thoroughly, but dark or highly saturated shades may run slightly.

It is recommended to wash your items in cold water with a mild or special wool soap.

  • My opinion: exceptionally soft to the touch, this yarn gives your creations a greater weight than traditional mohair-silk blends, without compromising the crispness and delicacy of openwork patterns. An ideal composition for structured projects with lace motifs.

💫 YAKORI stands out for its rich shades and exceptionally soft fibers. A yarn with character, elegant and timeless, that enhances every knitting or crochet creation.

Important : ✨ Yak , naturally grey, gives dyes a unique depth and richer shades than on a white merino or mohair & silk base. The tones gain warmth and richness , giving each skein a singular character.
Combined with a mohair & silk yarn, the final result lies between the luminous softness of mohair and the intensity of yak , for a harmonious, balanced and refined effect.
